STRENGTHENING OF MUNICIPAL CAPACITY TO IMPROVE
QUALITY OF LIFE OF PALILULA RESIDENTS

In the first week of New 2011 year, multidisciplinary mobile teams of City Municipality of Palilula, who realizing project “Strengthening of Municipal capacity to improve the quality of life for socially vulnerable groups”, will help social vulnerable, old and infirm persons, children, disabled and person of third age who are immobile and dependent of others people` help as follows: Tuesday, 4th of January in local offices “9. Maj” and “Cokot”, Wednesday, 5th of January in local offices “Crvena Zvezda” and “Palilula” and Thursday 6th of January, mobile teams of the project will be in the Mramor and Krusce, from 09am to 02pm.

Social-vulnerable residents of Palilula can get needed information of using of free services of mobile teams of project on phone number 018/244-587 or in their local offices.
Management of this City Municipality expect that will in cooperation with partner on this project, Center for Social Work “Sveti Sava” in Nis and Bulgarian Municipality Kustendil, significantly improve quality of life of social vulnerable groups in Palilula.

Services includes medical help to the vulnerable categories of residents, measures of blood pressure and blood sugar, provision of medical assistance advisory, psycho-social help and support and low help.

This project is financed by European Union, through Standing conference of towns and municipalities of Serbia within the program EXCHANGE 3 and last one year.
